When faced with unexpected challenges in life, seeking help in a supportive therapeutic environment is a brave choice and a proactive step toward rebalancing your life. As a mental health clinician, I deeply appreciate each client’s unique journey and the choices that have brought them to where they are now. I received my master’s in Counseling Psychology from Adler University, with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical experience includes a broad scope of presenting issues, including (but not limited to) anxiety and mood disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, and exploration of identity (gender & sex). Utilizing The Gottman Method Couples Therapy is the foundation for my couple’s work.
My therapeutic approach is one centered around creating a genuinely warm and inviting atmosphere where you can experience a sense of safety and also have opportunities to fully express and further explore your unique emotions. I utilize a person-centered approach that keeps the focus in the here-and-now and strongly values the therapeutic relationship. I work collaboratively with you by promoting and fostering authentic human connection.
My aim is towards helping you recognize your own personal strengths and to deeply appreciate your intrinsic value of self that may have been neglected in the past. Together, we will construct and work towards goals that directly align with your core values, while simultaneously developing self-compassion and prioritizing self-care. I very much look forward to meeting new clients and empowering them to create change and embrace life with an enhanced sense of personal well-being.
