Paige Armstrong

LSW

Hi! My name is Paige Armstrong. I have a passion for helping others reach their vision of personal development in a safe, supportive, and compassionate therapeutic environment. I received my Master’s of Social Work at Loyola University Chicago and am now a Clinical Associate who works with a variety of adults meeting life’s challenges. Additionally, I have experience in clinical case management and navigating community resources to help individuals meet their needs.

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, person-centered, and interdisciplinary, emphasizing modalities such as CBT, mindfulness skills, strength-based-awareness, and goal setting. I draw from systems theory to understand how clients are impacted by their environment, relationships, and vice versa. In cases of trauma recovery, I assist clients in regulating their nervous system through techniques such as breath-awareness and grounding practices to increase mind-body connection and ease associated stressors. I have experience working with presenting issues not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, SMI, crisis, trauma, addiction, self-doubt, and early adulthood life transitions such as academic stressors or creating work-life balance. While working with clients, I commit to ethics of cultural sensitivity and affirming care.

Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, exploring Chicagoland restaurants, and spending time with friends. I look forward to working with you!
