About Grace Integrated

Grace Integrated, LLC is a private counseling practice dedicated to providing evidence-based, client-centered mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We value compassionate care, clinical excellence, collaboration, and ongoing professional development. We are recognized as a Behavioral Health Center (BHC) which allows us to provide many services to those who utilize the Medicaid system, , which aligns with our values that everyone deserves access to mental health support.

Internship Timeline

Standard Internship Path

Our standard Internship timeline follows the academic year for the duration of a calendar year, with each cohort beginning in August and continuing through the following summer (approximately June/July), based on university requirements and practice needs/availability. Internship spots fill quickly and open Jan 1 of each calendar year. All applications are encouraged to be submitted by April 30th to ensure consideration for the following year.

We are seeking enthusiastic counseling interns who are eager to learn, grow clinically, and work with a diverse range of clients and presenting concerns. Our ideal intern is professional, adaptable, organized, and excited to become part of a supportive and energetic team.

Alternative Internship Path

Each year we accept one to two candidates who follow a non-traditional timeline with a May start. These internships follow an academic year, and end the following year in May. Candidates who qualify for the non-traditional timeline are encouraged to apply early as these spots are highly competitive and fill quickly.

Essential Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments for new clients and complete all required documentation in the electronic health record on the same day whenever possible.
Participate in crisis intervention as appropriate under supervision.
Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary team members regarding client care.
Commit to internship hours required by your graduate program (typically 15–20 hours per week) and schedule established with Grace. Schedule will require a minimum of two weeknights or one weeknights and Saturday to meet client availability and hours requirements.
Maintain openness to feedback, self-reflection, and continued professional growth.
Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling under supervision.
Maintain accurate, timely, and ethical clinical documentation in the electronic health record.
Provide consultation and support to parents, caregivers, schools, and other community partners when clinically appropriate.
Demonstrate professionalism, ethical practice, and adherence to ACA and applicable licensing standards.
Attend weekly supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.

Small group cohort for interns that meets weekly for psychoeducation, case consultation, skills development, and peer support.
Training stipend for approved professional development opportunities.
Paid clinical hours: Interns maintaining an active caseload of more than 10 clients per week are eligible for compensation with a current rate of $30 per clinical hour (subject to practice policies).
Clinic includes a two-way observation mirror and video/audio recording capabilities to support CACREP and graduate program requirements.

Qualifications

Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and lifelong learning.
Willingness to work with a diverse client population across a variety of clinical presentations.
Eligible to complete practicum and/or internship requirements through your graduate program.
Currently enrolled in a master’s or doctoral program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
