My approach to counseling is a collaborative journey in discovering and exploring what hinders clients from thriving. I strive to help clients reduce stress, anxiety, and the negative symptoms that prompted them to look for help. I work to create a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore, grow, and heal. I help clients learn new strategies to tackle challenges, find balance and joy, and thrive. Deciding to
find help and being heard can be a huge relief and is the gift of therapy.
I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University and am pursuing a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am a certified Yoga Therapist and a Gottman Level 2 Couples Therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma.
