Hello! My name is Jackie and I hope we can work together through the many experiences and chapters of your life. There are so many changes constantly happening in our life that sometimes, it can get overwhelming. Having a support as well as resources around you can help create the space one may need, and I hope to be able to provide that for you. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with my master’s in social work where I obtained hands-on experience through courses and internships in working alongside children and adolescents through various environments.
My approach with children and adolescents stems from my experience with Cognitive behavioral therapy, multisystemic therapy, and play therapy. Many times, therapy involves meeting the client where they are at and understanding that they know themselves and their life best. Being able to provide them a space where they feel heard and validated creates an opportunity to be open while also developing skills they can apply throughout their different stages of life. Through the rapport we build, we can continue focusing on your goals, your priorities, and potential questions you may have as you grow.
