My career journey has been very influential in my decision to become a therapist. Prior to my career, I attended DePaul University where I earned my bachelors degree in sociology, I then attended UIC Jane Addams College of social work where I earned my masters degree in social work. I currently work fulltime as a dean of students for Chicago Public schools.

As a former probation officer and law enforcement officer, I have learned how everyday stressors can have an impact on an individual, a family and children. Our life experiences and those around us truly impact where we may be at today. I am excited to work with you to strengthen and improve or even discover those challenging stressors. Patience is power and your journey through therapy will take patience and as a therapist I hope to build the trust and confidence with you throughout this time.
