Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Designed for use for children and adolescents who have had substantial exposure to family discord, bullying, depression or anxiety. CBT has three main goals: 1) to reduce symptoms related to stressors, 2) to build resilience, and 3) to increase peer and parent support. The design was developed to reduce symptoms of distress and build skills to improve children’s abilities to handle stress and trauma in the future.
Anger and Aggression
Anger Coping/Think First: The Anger Coping program is an empirically supported intervention for children in grades 3–6. Think First is the version for high school aged adolescents. The program teaches vital skills for reducing aggression and disruptive behavior, and building strong partnerships with teachers, parents and peers. Participants learn important skills for managing feelings and how to appropriately express their emotions.
ADD and ADHD
MindUP™: is a research-based training program for children. This program is composed of 15 sessions based in neuroscience. Students learn to self-regulate behavior and mindfully engage in focused concentration required for academic success. MindUP™ supports improved academic performance while enhancing perspective taking, empathy and kindness as well as fostering complex problem solving skills.
Cool Kids is a program that teaches children and their parents how to better manage the child's anxiety. It involves the participation of both children and their parents. The program aims to teach clear and practical skills to both the child and parents. The program is aimed at young people 7-17 years, is fully supported by manuals, and has slightly different versions for children and teenagers. Variations of the program also exist for children with comorbid autism, adolescents with comorbid depression, and for delivery in school settings.

Second Step: Social-emotional skills—like math skills—build on each other. The universal program is designed to teach children how to understand and manage their emotions, control their reactions, be aware of others’ feelings, and have the skills to problem-solve and make responsible decisions. Each weekly lesson includes engaging songs and games, and daily activities and take-home materials to reinforce learning.
Parenting: Raising 18mo -4 Years Effectively
1-2-3 Magic: Effective Discipline for Children 2–12 is an evidence-based, easy-to-learn and effective parenting program for parents. 1-2-3 Magic System can be used with children as early as 18 months through 12 years. 1-2-3 Magic is parents in charge, but no arguing, yelling or spanking is allowed. 1-2-3 Magic produces results quickly, and its power comes from the fact that it is the only parenting program based on the fact that moms and dads talk too much! You will learn how silence speaks louder than words.
Parenting: Raising 5 - 18 Year Olds Effectively
Love and Logic: It is a philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in the interactions with children. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences.
