Hello! My name is Jordan Grauman (she/her). Seeking therapy takes courage and I am here to support you. I care deeply about creating a space in which you feel safe, comfortable, and free to fully be yourself. I also strive to bring authenticity, empathy, and cultural sensitivity into the therapeutic space. Together we will build a working alliance that will focus on your strengths and use them to help on your personal journey.
During my Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s program at National Louis University, I have come to use an integrative approach to therapy. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and Person-Centered. My goal is to help you identify barriers that hold you back and gain skills that serve your healing, personal growth, and self-compassion for a fulfilling life. Areas that I can help you in include (but are not limited to) self-esteem, depression, anxiety, identity confusion, spirituality, church hurt, and relationship conflicts/concerns.
I believe we all have the capacity to use the broken pieces of our lives to make art; sometimes we simply need help finding the right tools to do so. I look forward to meeting you and helping you however I can!
